Getting Help
Psychiatric Services
Psychiatric services are provided at all Comprehensive offices by board certified or board eligible psychiatrists, advanced registered nurse practitioners and physician assistants. Comprehensive medical staff include specialists who work with children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults. Initial psychiatric evaluations assist in determining diagnosis, developing treatment plans, and, if necessary, determining appropriate medication for each client. During follow-up visits, psychiatrists evaluate treatment progress, and monitor symptoms and prescribed medications. Comprehensive psychiatrists maintain privileges at local hospitals and can arrange for and provide inpatient care or consultation.
